What is the turnaround time?

Turnaround times vary depending on the jewellery style and order size.
Each product description includes an estimated timeframe for that specific item.
Standard orders: Usually delivered within 2–4 weeks once we have received your completed kit.
If you need your order sooner, please contact us, and we will advise on the best possible timeline.

What are your delivery methods?

All bereavement and keepsake items are sent via Special Delivery. This provides:
End-to-end tracking
Guaranteed next working day delivery by 1pm
Signature on delivery
You’ll also receive email and/or text updates to keep you informed throughout the process.

Can I ask for updates on my order?

Accepted Answer

Once you place an order, a kit will be sent to you containing everything needed to return your inclusion safely. You will receive updates when:
Your returned kit has safely arrived
Your order has been dispatched
If you need any additional updates, please contact us, and we’ll be happy to assist.

What happens to my inclusion item(s)?

Accepted Answer

All inclusion items are handled with the utmost care and respect.
They remain securely sealed until work begins on your jewellery. Any unused items are resealed and returned to you with your order.
For breastmilk, once it has been dried, it can be safely stored and reused for future pieces if desired.

Question 5

What is used to make the jewellery?

Accepted Answer

We use high-quality UV-stabilised resin.
The UV stabilisers help prevent or delay yellowing, though prolonged or frequent sunlight exposure may still cause discoloration, so we recommend storing your jewellery away from direct sunlight.
Including crushed opal is optional - you can also choose a lustre shimmer or mica colour or have ashes cast as they are. You’re also welcome to select multiple colour options.

Question 6

Can I use multiple inclusions in a single piece of jewellery?

Accepted Answer

Yes! You can combine inclusions in a single piece, such as ashes from more than one person, or any combination of ashes, hair, and breastmilk.
Please leave a note with your order so we can provide any additional bags or tools needed - this does not incur an extra cost.
Note: If including an additional item with breastmilk, please select the breastmilk kit and leave a note specifying the extra inclusion.
Breastmilk jewellery includes a £10 surcharge to cover the drying and preservation process.

Question 7

How do I care for my jewellery?

Accepted Answer

Most of our pieces are suitable for everyday wear. However, some rings feature delicate pavé-set stones, which may become loose over time - these items are recommended for occasion wear only and this will be noted in the jewellery description.
For 925 silver jewellery, we include a mini polishing kit for use on silver areas only. Do not use polish on the resin, which can be cleaned by gently buffing.
To keep your jewellery looking its best, remove it before:
Using harsh chemicals
Applying perfume or lotions
Swimming, showering, or bathing
Sunbathing

Are your charms compatible with pandora bracelets?

Yes, all of our charms are fully compatible with Pandora bracelets.

Question 9

What happens if I damage the jewellery?

Accepted Answer

We can repair damage to the resin area of your jewellery:
Superficial scratches: Usually fixed by adding a new layer of resin over the existing layer.
Severe damage: May require a full recast. In this case, we’ll need a portion of your original inclusion (ashes, hair, or dried breastmilk). Always keep a small amount for such circumstances.
Resin repairs are free within one year of purchase. Repairs after this period incur a small fee.
Please note:
We are not liable for stone loss; a jeweller can replace and reset stones.
We are not liable for damage caused by lack of care, such as bends in silver or damage to hardware.

Question 10

Can I have my jewellery engraved?

Accepted Answer

Engraving is available on items that support this option, which will be shown in the product dropdown menu.
You can choose from a variety of fonts for standard text.
For custom engraving (handprints, footprints, fingerprints, personal handwriting, etc.), please ensure the design is clear and on plain white paper. Note that smaller items may have limitations on the engraving size.

My breastmilk has been frozen, can it still be used?

Absolutely! Frozen breastmilk can be preserved and used, even if it has spoiled.

How much of my inclusion item do you require?

Accepted Answer

The amount needed depends on the size and quantity of jewellery ordered.
We typically request one full vial of your inclusion, which allows us to use what’s needed and return any unused.
We can work with smaller quantities for most inclusions, but breastmilk requires a minimum of 5ml.

Why is there an additonal fee for breastmilk orders?

Accepted Answer

Breastmilk jewellery includes an additional fee to cover the drying and preservation process.
Unlike ashes or hair, which are already dry, breastmilk must be carefully dried before being set in the jewellery.

Are chains included in the price of necklaces?

Accepted Answer

Yes. All chains are included within the price and are available in a variety of sizes, 18" being the standard size.
